Low-Carbon Steel: The Key Path to Industry Development
To address this, Zhejiang Eflow Valve Co., Ltd. is actively exploring the application of low-carbon technologies, such as electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking using scrap steel and hydrogen-based direct reduced iron (DRI) processes. By using scrap steel as a raw material in EAF steelmaking, we can enhance secondary production and recycling, reducing emissions associated with primary steel production. Additionally, hydrogen-based DRI, which uses hydrogen from renewable energy sources instead of traditional fossil fuels, generates almost no carbon emissions.
